Font style, size, color & highlight no longer work when composing email?

A few months ago the font style, size, color %26amp; highlight buttons stopped working. I contacted Yahoo for help, both by email and telephone. They could not determine what the problem is and were no help at all. Has anyone else encountered this problem?


Also, I tried switching to Yahoo Beta mail to see if that would make a difference. Those buttons work in Beta but I'm unable to compose at all (cursor won't show up in the body of the email) so I had to switch back to the old version. Again I contacted Yahoo for help but they had no answers.Font style, size, color %26amp; highlight no longer work when composing email?
The same thing with the color%26amp; graphics is happening to me. It's as though the system isn't taking into account my preferences to use color and graphics. I'm trying to pinpoint when it started. I think maybe it's somehow related to the new explorer I installed. I did notice that on a different computer it still works, altough on a third one I tested it doesn't work either. So I don't think it's the cache file. It's very annyoing and I wish I knew how to fix it. I have had this problem on %26amp; off. It's on now, haven't been able to change Font size or style in weeks. Or color of text either. Bold , Italics and underline work. I did all the suggested things, del cookies, temp files etc. nothing worked. Report Abuse

You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky. Try this: clear your history, temporary files (these will take a while!) %26amp; cookies, restart the computer and retry. I've recommended this fix to others, who reported that it did help. Might do you some good as well.
