I have just below shoulder-length layered dark brown hair with caramel/honey highlights and need style ideas?

try loose curls with a curling iron, hold it straight up and down while your doing it, and grab hair with the curling iron around the middle of the section, (as opposed to starting to curl from the bottom), and then wrap the hanging hair around the iron manually. so you dont have those straight and then ringlet at the bottom peices.

then spray some texturizing or hairspray and shake it around to make it wavy.

orrrr um, pomping your bangs is always cute. try twisting your bangs or front peices of hair and push it up into one.

Can someone suggest a cheaper alternative to salons for Highlights, cut, style. I am spending too much!?

I am looking for a chain or suggestions on how to find a qualified salon for my hair. I am now paying over $100. I am not sure if the local chain salons will have the same quality that I am used to...I am definently not going back to doing it myself. I used to do that years ago with really bad results. Can someone suggest a cheaper alternative to salons for Highlights, cut, style. I am spending too much!?
that is the cheaps you are going to find it. i believe if they are doing a good job on your hair and it looks and feel great. what is 100 for great hair. priceless! Can someone suggest a cheaper alternative to salons for Highlights, cut, style. I am spending too much!?
You should go to different salons and watch different stylist work. It should not bother them for you to watch . And then when you find someone you like their work, compare the prices. Also usually the longer your hair the more it costs. Good Luck!!!
It all depends on the stylist. Try the Hair Cuttery and look around to see who cuts hair well. Ask people where they get their hair done/
Local beauty college offers discount services - performed by students
The only reason why salons cost so much is because the stylist they are setting you up with has experience or has gained a ';level';. I always go to my favorite salon with the same hair stylist (I have gone through many until i found a person I trust) I pay about $200 for my hair for a cut, style, higlights, deep conditioner. (Also my hair is REALLY long)She has a really good job and I would not go any place else. You need experience, cost cutters and those places make the stylists go through a class that lasts 3 DAYS and then puts them in their salons. Crazy!
check with your local tech school - cosemetology students offer a wide variety of services - cuts, color, perms, highlights, manicures, etc - at greatly reduced prices. I used to go to a nail salon for pedicures @ $30/visit. Same service @ the tech school is $5.
try Regis salon ....they arent local but they are not expensive
All top salons offer model nights. Apprentices for the salon that are already licensed work on their own models. This is your chance to keep going to the best but at a hefty discount. Yes they are slower than the more experienced stylist. You must be somewhat open to what they need too. They are not usually going to take models for trims and retouches.

  • How much does it cost to get a perm, highlights and a style?

I want to get my hair done for under 150 dollars does anyone know where to get that done in cleveland How much does it cost to get a perm, highlights and a style?
Perm depending on the length of your hair around $50-90

When I got the highlights it was $40

    So probablly around $120

How much does it cost to get a perm, highlights and a style?
I don't know, but if you want to spend less than 150.00 don't be upset, if it doesn't turn out how you wanted. And perms are such a touchy thing. Many people can go to the top notchest of salons and turn out with a permanent disaster. If I were you, I'd spend the money.
    You should definitely shop around.

Use the yellow pages and your telephone.

The price can range from $60 to over $200. (My daughters both get theirs done that way - one pays about $60, the other over $200. And both get good results.)
It will not be that much but chances are unless they are stupid they will not do a perm and highlights in the same day. That is just asking to get your hair fried off!! Good luck!
Sorry but a perm alone costs $300. For the highlights, it would be anywhere from $30 to $80, at least for a decent job. At least getting it styled would only be about $30. :)
i would say at least 100. but it obviously depends on where you get it done.
    go see your local hairdressers.

I have short dirty bron hair with blode highlight and need a new style justt tell me what you gott!!!=]?

i have black hair with razored layers starting from the crown of my head to the bottom . looks very nice when straightened .

A customer wants a hair cut, highlights, and styled...how is this charged?

I have never been to a salon. I looked at a website that charged $45.00 for a haircut, $85.00 for highlights, and $35.00 to style. I called and they said that all three charges would apply. I talked to a lady at my work and she said that the charge is $80.00 for the color and the haircut is thrown in at no charge. Is it different for each salon or how does that all work? Thanks for your help.A customer wants a hair cut, highlights, and styled...how is this charged?
Price varies in several ways. Depends on which salon you go to, upscale, spa's, i.e. (which will charge more) vs a local mom %26amp; pop shop (which tends to be more reasonable).

Your original hair length, %26amp; the texture, can be more work (more $) to cut depending on the cut you want.

The style is usually what products the stylist uses %26amp; if its blow-dried/curled/straightened etc...

As far as the color, some salons alow you to bring your own color %26amp; just charges you for the service. In alot of cases, your hair has to go through several processes before the desired style can be achieved.

Personally I think this lady is getting ripped off. Reasonable prices would be 1/3 the price shes paying. But then if your going to a spot on park ave, thats the going rate.
